For a long time I wasn’t sure if I wanted to collect Ever After High dolls. I loved the episodes but I wasn’t completely sure when it came to the dolls. Their faces were so different compared to Monster High dolls. I guess I just needed time to get used to them.
I was thinking about getting Apple for a while and I finally decided to do it after I saw the pictures of re-releases online (I’ve already pointed out some disappointing differences between the original versions and the re-releases here). Fortunately all stores in my area had her in stock, so I had plenty of Apple’s dolls to choose from.
She looks stunning in a box. Maybe one day I’ll take her out but for now she’s staying in.
I love her face! This dark eye makeup looks great on her pale face and the red lips are amazing. I like her hairstyle and the cute crown on a headband. Her outfit is very detailed and well made. The apple-shaped bag is really pretty. Shoes, as always in EAH world, are just fantastic.

I think that the original Apple White is absolutely gorgeous. Compared to this, the re-released version looks disappointing:
As you can see, her hair is less curly, dress lacks detail and the gold elements on her shoes are missing. She doesn’t have her stockings, ring and bracelet. It’s just sad.

24 September 2015 at 22:17Really odd I thought I just bought the rerelease, I guess they were original then. Their boxes were dingy, but I found original release Cerise and Apple at my local toys r us.
